The House
Rapidly constructed in 3 months, the Big Brother Nigeria House is a double-story feast for the senses. The colours reflect the Nigerian flag in multi-hued shades of refreshing green. The decor promises to be diverse as Nigerian culture itself. Artifacts, paintings and sculpture have been specially selected to adorn every spare inch of space.
The house itself comes equipped with 27 cameras, 68 microphones and 21 kilometers of cabling - and that's just for starters. 4 infrared cameras will be geared for any night-time action.
This spacious home for 12 contestants comprises 2 communal bedrooms, a bathroom with seperate shower and toilet, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a lounge and relaxation area and a garden complete with large leafy tree.
There is also a diary room, where contestants will have alone-time with Big Brother, as well as a treat room, where housemates will be rewarded or punished for tasks completed successfully or not.
All BBN activity will be monitored by 35 television monitors in the hi-tech Main Control Room. The house, 200 square meters of floor space, is enclosed by a 6 meter perimeter wall to keep the world outside Big Brother away!
